A civilization is a group of people who come together through a common culture. Some way to see a culture, is through an own language, a common political organization, a particular sense of art expression and a history that connect this civilization to their ancestors.
Same thoughts, same religion and the same culture are fundamentals to identify a civilization, because those attitudes makes people feel belong and be part of something, and being part of something is one of the basic feelings in our human nature.
To sum up, civilization is a group of people with the same idiom and the same conception of thoughts, manners, and tastes, sharing the same geographical space; having commons rules for being in concord with them as a community. And that is one of the most basic feelings in the human nature. Being with others.

Very good my dear friend.
To be honest, I had in my mind the same definition in which you mention culture here, but in my case I couldn't express the meaning as you did.
And I think the same, that is a group that share the same cultural, political, thoughts, and so on... I got your message.
One thing that make me doubt is this sentence: "A frequent way civilization is a group of people are" there is something missing there, I think it's a word. I think there's no more mistakes.
Take care!

I already edit it ;)
Hi Juan,
You´ve provided a very complete description of the key elements of "civilization". Also, you´ve related civilization with culture through language and history.
You´ve very wisely referred to the relevance of the feeling of belonging and "being with others".
Maybe something that you could have added in your reflection of civilization and culture is how different civilizations see others. Isn´t it a problematic issue sometimes?
